Get to Know Me
From a young age I’ve always been passionate about nutrition and how the role it plays in our lives. My interest in nutrition started when my mom would choose to buy us whole grains, when it was not the norm at all! My mom would allow us soda and ice cream only on the weekends, while no one around her gave a second thought to nutrition. Her influence sparked my curiosity
Growing up, I struggled with weight management & wanting to fit into the beauty standards of what we see on TV. However, as I grew older and learned more about my body, I realized it’s not about how you look, but how you feel. Since then, I have followed my heart & always strived to feel good internally first and foremost, regardless of what society has to say. As I continued down this path I started focusing and paying attention to: what I eat, how I challenge my body physically & taking care of my mental health. With this mindset I’ve attained & maintained the goals I set out for myself and found my passion in helping others do the same.
